It all seemed a bit too well thought out, and certainly looked like Nigel Lloyd was keeping am eye out for it too.

Although, I am surprised he didn't just suggest that Smith could have been looking anywhere.

Re: 1st ODI: West Indies v England at North Sound, Antigua
Might have been Michael Clarke who mentioned that it looked like Renshaw suggested Smith check with the dressing room...and that it was odd that he thought to do that so quickly in the heat of the moment for his skipper.

Do you doubt that Smith used the dressing room previously Sven?

I don't.

What's the quickest ton ever?

Smith now has 77 off of 20 balls, of which 52 of them were off 10 balls from one bowler!

Keeping an eye on the T20 tournament in Hong Kong as Jordan is playing and Dwayne Smith just hit 28 off of the first over.

Bowled son!

Seemed an odd decision to bring him back for India as he has hardly bowled.
Would have picked another batsman myself but seems they will send out another all rounder to replace him now.

Still waiting for Kohli to substantiate his claims that Australia consulted the dressing room twice on DRS while he was batting.
Virat TRUMP seems keen to shoot his mouth off with wild claims.

Ha ha Mitchell Marsh, the worst #6 in test history.

You'd have to be quick.
40 runs at an average of 10 in the series so far

Kohli is a stunning player. I'd pay to watch him bat in Boycott's mum's pinny with a stick of rhubarb.

That's still around a billion more people than think Steve Smith is a good bloke.

Excellent subtle cheating there, Steve. They did well to spot it.

Thats nice. I am sure Kohli would be delighted to hear that.

A billion Indians and a chubby Kiwi on his friend list.

I like Kohli as a cricketer and a person much more than Steve Smith.

Didnt have a good day with the old DRS!

I see Kohli was in punchy mood as well.

NZ take on S Africa later.
Looking for their second ever Test win at home vs the PROTEAS after 85 years of trying.

Re: 1st ODI: West Indies v England at North Sound, Antigua
Ha ha not only is Smith a rat faced cheating little lesbian fuckwit, he's also a retard:

On Shaun Marsh not reviewing his LBW

"I said "go" as in "go have a look at it" and he turned around and started walking," Smith said

Yeah, you're skipper says "GO" and you're obviously going to think he means go and review it.

Re: 1st ODI: West Indies v England at North Sound, Antigua
True greats of the game can play on any pitch. Richard Hadlee bowled and batted everywhere against everyone. We currently have two world class bowlers at test level in countries where is swings but give them a flat tract and no swing and they are up and downers.

Re: 1st ODI: West Indies v England at North Sound, Antigua
I think what most people want is a balanced game where everyone is in the match.
Some pace and bounce early for the quicks, a hard surface for quick scoring by good batsmen and a pitch that deteriorates by days 4 & 5 to bring spinners into it.
Most countries aim for something like that

In the first Test Ashwin had bowled 16 overs by lunch on the first day.
That's just a poor pitch

Re: 1st ODI: West Indies v England at North Sound, Antigua
Everyone loves seeing a good spinner in action.

Certainly do.

Good spinners shouldn't need turning wickets to be effective.

Warne was like that, over half his test wickets came outside of Australia. I don't expect the oppo would be dumb enough to prepare wickets to help him.

Re: 1st ODI: West Indies v England at North Sound, Antigua
Nothing wrong with a turning ball. Everyone loves seeing a good spinner in action. You loved Warney right???

It's just that these are substandard underprepared pitches. Said it when Australia won the first and it was the same here.
Ashwin is a decent bowler ... though he does average 30+ everywhere else in the world but Jadeja is a dart player. Any pitch he is taking wickets on is a wrong un.

Seems Smith tried a bit of cheating. Not on
That said I am more annoyed at him and Shaun Marsh for fucking up Marsh's review.
Anyway ... 1-1 with 2 to play. Definitely need to win the toss next time. Am pleasantly surprised how competitive Aust have been but it's the same few players each time.

Re: 1st ODI: West Indies v England at North Sound, Antigua
Grumpster, I totally agree about football. Had a long chat at the weekend about it. I used to love it back in the day but the money has killed the game. I am fed up with the blatant cheating and play acting too. Case in point was Man U v Bournemouth. Deliberate stamp for all to see followed by deliberate elbow. Officials miss both, f**k knows what they are watching and then both players deny they did anything wrong or meant to do either thing deliberately. You look at us now desperately trying to keep up with the big clubs and for what? It has really lost its appeal in so many ways and I know a lot of other fans feel the same. I haven't been to the new ground and I have an open invite from a mate with a spare but don't really want to go. Last year was very exciting but we always seem to f**k up. Sad times but like you I have other sports I am more into these days.

Ahhh... It's a shit pitch as the ball turned off the straight... and your clueless batsman are about as good as the rest of the clueless test batsmen in the world that don't know how to combat a ball ... that turns... what an alien thing eh??
